Praise God! Bill got a job at URS doing what he loves, land surveying. Bill has been working at his new job for about a month now. He loves it! It has been a true blessing to our family.
When Bill got hired, his boss told him that reason he picked Bill was because of something he said in the interview. They asked Bill why should we hire you? Bill paused for a moment and took a breath and than said "because I am a christian and If I work for you, I will actually be working for God and be doing my work to glorify him." Bill didn't know what they would think about that, but he wanted to make sure he was completely honest with his answer. When his boss called him to tell him that he was the one that they choose for the position he also told him it was because of what he said then and he really appreciated it. He is a christian as well and he was excited about hiring another christian to work there. Over the last month, Bill has come home to tell me about biblical things that they have talked about or sermons that they listened to while on their way to different job sites.
Another blessing with Bill going back to work is that our school schedule is back in order. With Bill being home all the time and a new baby in the house, I had trouble being consistent with it. It was discouraging to me. We are into our 5th week of school since Bill went back to work and the boys are learning so much. Bill is reading very well and Josiah is enjoying school more then ever. Even Titus jumps in to practice letter sounds and blends with us!
Once Bill started working, we realized that he is going to be working to much to keep up on the camp. He has resigned from the camp so the he can spend the time he is at home with our family. We are now in the process of looking for somewhere to move. We found a house that we love and if everything works out, I will post pictures later. The house is closer to his job so that he can be home more and it is closer to our family in Ohio. There is also a church near by with lots of other families that home-school! I am really looking forward to that!
Although its bittersweet to be leaving the camp and it's also bittersweet to not be moving to NC, we can see Gods clear direction in this and I am so happy for that!
